Pendle is owned by Pearson’s and St Elizabeth’s Cottage Homes. Worthing Homes Ltd is the Corporate Trustee for Pearson’s and St Elizabeth’s Cottage Homes. Worthing Homes provides management services as per a management agreement approved by the Charity Commission.

Worthing Quaker meeting retain the right to nominate residents. Applicants should be over 50 years of age and of limited means.

The properties are let on a licence and residents pay a monthly maintenance fee.

There are 6 self-contained one bedroom flats.


Pendle shares a site with Worthing Friends (Quaker) Meeting House with access to its walled garden

1/4 mile to shopping parade; 3/8 mile to West Worthing railway station

1/2 mile to the sea; 1 mile to town centre; on bus routes including 700 and the pulse.

At the request of current tenants, the house has been designated a ‘no smoking’ building.
